Request for Replacement AFT Membership Cards

Have you misplaced or lost your Local 6024 AFT Membership Card losing out on hundreds of AFT Benefits all this time?

No problem, we can remedy that immediately.  Simply email the KUAFF at aftlocal6024@gmail.com giving us your full name and department in which you teach.

We then notify AFT National, and within 4-6 weeks a new bar coded card will be mailed to your home from AFT National in Washington D.C..

But, I want to obtain my benefits now, and not wait.. well, rather, than have to wait all that time to know your Benefit Member ID number, we will issue you a temporary paper card with your AFT ID Number, sent via interoffice mail to your department, so you can begin immediately using the many benefits afforded to members.

Special Note to adjuncts who teach at multiple AFT colleges. For the purposes of Occupational Liability, AD&D Insurances, etc... you are only covered for the institution in which you are a dues paying member. That is why adjuncts pay only a proportion of full dues to each institution.

Also, to access the "members only" portion of our website, you need the unique number assigned to you for our local.  You cannot use one member card unique number for all the institutions you teach in.

Example: If a student should sue you at Kean (as on occasion happens), and you are an AFT Member at NJCU, you will not be covered for the KUAFF (Kean) Occupational Liability Insurance Coverage unless you are an AFT Member in the KUAFF at Kean. Your protection resides only in the institution/s for which you pay dues as a member.
