On December 1, 2014 dedicated Adjunct Faculty from Kean University participated in the "Occupy Bergen County" rally. They came together as a group because they have common recognition of serious problems in our nation. In addressing those issues, they believe that those elected officials sent to Washington to represent their constituencies are not doing their jobs and falling prey to self interest groups on Wall Street. Their protest was intended to raise consciousness of the work needed by the working class to restore economic and social fairness and justice to all.
