July 28: We visit the local Wenzhou museum. The history of the Wenzhou region goes back some 5,000 years. Wenzhou means, "warm springs." How appropriate! Couched in between the mountains on one side and the coast on the other. The people are known for their calligraphy, embroidery, and keen business sense. Amazing to be walking on such ancient grounds! My other colleagues from the U.S. are arriving later this evening. Now I'm starting to feel the jet lag.
