Services for Dr. John Dobosiewicz
Kean University mourns the loss of Dr. John Dobosiewicz, Executive Director of the School of General Studies. Dr. Dobosiewicz died on August 5.
A viewing is scheduled for Sunday, August 11, from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m. at Higgins and Bonner Echo Lake Funeral Home, 582 Springfield Avenue, Westfield, N.J. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Monday, August 12, at 10 a.m. at St. John the Apostle RC Church, 1805 Penbrook Terrace, Linden, NJ.
John's friends and colleagues in the Kean community are welcome to participate in these services and are invited to bring any special pictures of John to the viewing services on Sunday. On Monday, two Kean buses will depart the Wilkins Theatre parking lot at 9 a.m. for the church, and will return participants to the Kean parking lot immediately follow the Mass of Christian Burial.
The Dobosiewicz family is accepting donations for an education fund for his four young children; Melanie Flores (CAS-124C) is collecting donations from the Kean community for the fund and can be reached at 7-0307.
