AFT PLUS is the name of the member benefit programs available to AFT members and their families. Many of the programs are provided through Union Privilege, the benefit arm of the AFL-CIO; others are unique to AFT and are coordinated directly through AFT PLUS. As a member, you have an opportunity to run for union office, participate in formulating policies at the local, state and national levels, and access a number of personal and professional benefits, including:

• Attending free and/or discounted networking events, such as professional sporting events, on-campus networking, and year-end and holiday dinners.
• Eligibility for AFT+, the benefit program available to AFT members and their families. Benefits include insurance, limited medical plan and vision program, dental plan, legal and financial services, travel and entertainment, shopping, scholarships

Misplaced or lost your Local 6024 AFT Membership Card? No problem, we can remedy that immediately.  Simply email the KUAFF at aftlocal6024@gmail.com giving us your full name and department in which you teach.

We will then notify AFT National, and within 4-6 weeks a new bar-coded card will be mailed to your home from AFT National in Washington D.C.

For AFT+ Benefits, with your Benefit Member ID number, we can issue you a temporary paper card, sent via interoffice mail to your department, so you can continue using the many benefits.
