Local MOA Agreements

On March 12, 2002, Kean University and the KUAFF signed off on a Memorandum of Agreement (MOA # 25), which would make the purchase of Kean Business Cards available to Adjunct Faculty who have completed at least three (3) years of employment at Kean University.

On May 20, 2003, Dr. Frank Esposito,  Interim President of the University, appointed a "Standing Committee Representative", President or designee from the KUAFF to serve on the University Planning Committee (UPC).

On August 14, 2003, Kean University agreed to increase the current contractual rate of $700.00 per credit, to $725.00 for the Fall 2003 Semester. Beginning Jan. 1, 2004, compensation shall be the rate established in the State-Union Agreement.

On June 30, 2003, Kean University agreed to provide the KUAFF Union Staff, Kean email address accounts, and the KUAFF agreed to observe all regulations concerning access and privacy practices.

On June 30, 2003, Kean University agreed to provide the KUAFF with advance notification of Employment Vacancies prior to the public announcements.

On June 30, 2003, Kean University agreed to provide the KUAFF with a Preliminary List of Bargaining Unit Members no later that the first week of each semester.

On June 30, 2003, Kean University and the KUAFF signed off on a Memorandum of Agreement (MOA # 16) which would provide Fitness Center Privileges for all Adjunct Faculty.

On June 30, 2003,  Kean University and the KUAFF signed off on a Memorandum of Agreement (MOA # 15) in which the Unievrsity agreed to provide a list of University Email addresses to the Union for all Adjunct Faculty teaching at Kean.

On June 30, 2003, Kean University and the KUAFF signed off on a Memorandum of Agreement (MOA # 11) which would provide access at no compensation to designated faculty parking on campus.
